Intro to Year 2 Reading, phonics and spelling

Hello!  We are so disappointed not to be able to invite you into school to discuss reading in Y2 as in previous years. However, we hope that this video proves to be a helpful way to pass on some of the key points and provides a starting point.  At present the Y2 teachers are gently / discreetly assessing the levels that your children are currently reading at.  Please bear with us as we always want to invest as much time as we can teaching in the class too!  Please feel encouraged to share feedback from your home reading in your children's planner as we look at these everyday!
