Manor Wood Out of School Club

Our Out of School Club, (OOSC) on site is run by the school Governors and the members of the Childcare Sub-committee are:

Deborah Kenny       Headteacher

Carmel Barton         Children’s Centre Manager

Kim Adams             Governor

The club is divided by age range with Carmel Barton managing Mini Wood Club for children in Nursery up to Year 2 and Lucky Kour managing the club for children in Year 3 - 6.

Both Carmel and Lucky are parents and have many years’ experience of working with children.

The hours and charges of the OOSC are as illustrated below:

The aim of the club is to provide a relaxing atmosphere for children to play and learn in the hours before and after school. A healthy breakfast is served each morning and a healthy snack in the evening. Special requirements are catered for in terms of diet, and there are a variety of options for children to choose from.

The OOSC is provided for parents / carers as a service and although we operate on a “not for profit basis” we are responsible for paying staff, providing high quality resources and keeping the club facilities clean, safe and warm.

The club is also extremely popular and over-subscribed; therefore you need to make enquiries well in advance if you would like a place. We also run sessions during holidays and Training Days.
