Manor Wood Primary School

Year 6 Residential

For the past 5 years we have been to Herd Farm for our Year 6 residential. This year we decided on a change and we are going to Lineham Farm.

Lineham Farm

The children in year 6 look forward to the residential. It’s a time to celebrate their primary school years and to learn important team work skills. The children also take on responsibilities like making their own beds on arrival, washing the pots after dinner and keeping their rooms tidy for room inspections.

The activities are run by Lineham Farm and the children are spilt into 3 groups. The children love the activities and take part in three exctiting opportunies each day.

The food is superb and they cater for all dietary requirements.

The bedrooms range from 4 beds in a room, to 10 beds in a room and children are allocated a room on arrival. The teachers think carefully about the groups and boys and girls are separate.
