Year 3 and 4 Language day
At the end of February, Year 3 and 4 took part in a Language day. The day involved lots of different and exciting activities led by students from Leeds Beckett University. During the day, the children had the opportunity to learn about Spanish culture; they tried some Spanish food and learnt to salsa dance! They also had the chance to practise using German greetings and tasted some delicious pretzels and they were taught about French food including crepes, which they really enjoyed trying!
The children worked fantastically throughout the day and they managed to fill their passports with new phrases and vocabulary they had learnt. It was a fantastic day!
