Science at Manor Wood
At Manor Wood Primary, we encourage our children to be inquisitive learners throughout their time at school and beyond. Our Science curriculum fosters a curiosity about our universe and we want our learners to recognise aspects of Science in everyday life. We ensure the teaching and learning of Science has the prominence it requires, with key aims of increasing pupils knowledge, understanding our world and developing skills associated with Science as a process of enquiry. Our children are provided with rich learning experiences that prepare out children for life in an increasingly scientific and technological world. The curriculum allows our pupils to develop their natural curiosities, encourage open-mindedness, perseverance and thinking critically and scientifically.
