Manor Wood Primary School 

Manor Wood Primary School joined the Owlcotes Multi-Academy Trust in June 2023. We did so to widen our partnerships within the city and to share our expertise with other schools and further develop our practice and provision. We are an outstanding school and pre-school setting and our extremely proud of our children's achievements and our restorative approach to education. We have an award winning Foundation Stage (Early Years) and have been oversubscribed for a number of years. 

Manor Wood is a modern building set in green fields four miles from the centre of Leeds, offering excellent facilities. We are a two-form entry school, taking 60 children each year. We admit children at the beginning of the academic year in which they are five.

In addition, we have a  School Nursery which is part of our excellent Foundation Stage Unit and caters for 39  children for part of the week. We admit children into nursery in the September following their 3^rd birthday and also admit in January and April if we have available places.

We offer before and after school childcare provision in our ‘Out of school Clubs’ between the times of 7.30am until 6pm and throughout the holidays. 

Manor Wood Baby Nest and Pre-School

The Baby Nest and Pre-School, on site, has places for 2 year olds and babies from 6 months and provides wrap-around-care for Nursery children before and after school.
