From Year 1 the children are expected to wear the following school uniform. School uniform is optional for children in the Foundation Stage as casual clothes are recommended for the activities in the setting. 

• Mid-grey plain trousers

• White shirt with school tie OR white polo shirt (with collar) with the official school sweatshirt or cardigan.

• Grey pinafore dress or skirt

• Pumps or a spare pair of shoes for indoor use

• White/grey/black tights, leggings or socks

• Hijabs must be teal, navy, black or grey. 

General

• Sweatshirts must bear the official school logo

• Earrings must be studs

• Nose studs are unacceptable

• Hair bands/braids, slides etc should be grey, black, or white

• Large bows and hair accessories are not appropriate for school

Limited storage space requires that a suitable small sports bag or plastic carrier should be used by the children for their PE/games/swimming kit.

Sports, games and swimming are part of the school curriculum and are National Curriculum requirements. We will assume that children who are attending school are fit for their PE and games lessons unless parent/carers tell us otherwise.

Polo shirts, cardigans and jumpers with the school logo are available for purchase from "Jo Brand" which is the school uniform shop in Meanwood. Unbranded products in the correct colours can be purchased at supermarkets including Asda and Tescos.
