Swimming at MWPS

Children are taken to swimming lessons at Scott Hall Leisure Centre in Year 4. Various staff have received CPD throughout the year.

2019-2020 Year 6 data

  • 87% are able to confidently swim at least 25 metres.
  • 86% use a range of strokes effectively.
  • 87% can perform self-rescue.

 

2018-2019 Year 6 data

  • 76% are able to confidently swim at least 25 metres.
  • 79% use a range of strokes effectively.
  • 79% can perform self-rescue.
